Please Note: If you are hired for this role, our client requires the successful completion of a drug screen and background check as part of the employment process. For safety-sensitive positions, the drug screen will be a ten-panel test.
Responsibilities:
Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Successfully complete all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
Receive components or items for assembly and/or testing in programmed sequence.
Assemble mechanical or electrical components using sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
Assemble all variations of in-house standard products.
Follow assembly/test instructions, e.g., color code, PVC solvent welding, and thread taping.
Use simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site.
Complete required documentation relative to production and quality.
Drive continuous improvement processes and conduct daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
May read and interpret blueprints (product specific).
Maintain equipment and area in a clean, safe condition.
Plumb variations of standard and custom products.
Occasionally assist with in-house plumbing mechanical work.
Use simple hand or power tools along with complicated jigs and fixtures.
Update and redline drawings as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months’ relevant experience required.
Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic experience a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild filter presses highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints (if applicable).
